“Potel Due” green trimmer TOSCANA :

The trimmer of the “Potel” series belongs to the type with cutting bars featuring double alternated movement of the blades called “double-blade”, reducing the vibrations to the minimum.
This system performs a neat cut making the wound on the shoot of the vine less evident and allowing more rapid healing.
Differently from the cutting system with “free blade” (knife) producing a wider and more irregular wound, it requires more demanding daily maintenance, with the cleaning and sharpening of the blades many times a day, the periodical checks of the rotation parts (bearings, belts) as well as higher risk exposure due to the ejection of the residual vegetation during the work.

Machine equipped with special articulated chassis facilitating the entrance in the row, the transport during the displacements and reducing the volume.
Equipped with two cutting bars (left-right) for the lateral vegetation and with two left and right upper blades “for the cutting of apical vegetation, equipped with anti-shock articulation and mechanical angular inclination (hydraulic on demand).   
The sturdy chassis of box-type steel bears a hydraulic distributor (on demand electro-hydraulic with joystick).

The angular adjustment of both left and right tops is obtained through a mechanical screw system (hydraulic on demand).

 

POTEL BIL 83–86 TRIMMER :
The POTEL BIL TRIMMER features a "double-blade" mechanism with two mobile blades (series COLO04 tooth) on the vertical cutting bar. The Double-blade movement with double connecting rod enables the sliding of the two blades without any vibration and ensuring a neat cut of vegetation. Besides, this type of movement implies require less maintenance work both during daily work and for the preparation for garaging while not used.

 

The trimmer is suitable also for the application on tractors with reduced hydraulic power (delivery lower than 20liters/min) or for semi-light tractors used on slopes with high transverse gradients, in fact the machine has a weigh lower by 15/20 kg than the classical Potel version with single-blade movement. The new double-blade cutting bars with respect to the traditional ones offer the advantage for the operator to increase the advancement sped remarkably, so ensuring better quality of work and saving. In standard version the series Potel trimmers are equipped with conventional controls through 4, 5 o 6-way double-effect hydraulic distributor (40 L delivery). As an alternative, on demand they can be equipped with radio control or mechanical remote control.

 

ON DEMAND THE POTEL BIL MODELS ARE AVAILABLE IN DOUBLE VERSION FOR THE BILATERAL TRIMMING OF THE TWO SIDES OF THE ROW (POTEL-DUE). POTEL DUE IS EQUIPPED WITH A SPECIAL FRAME SO THAT IT IS POSSIBLE TO WORK ON ROWS IN FLAT VIENYARDS OR WITH ROWS GROWN IN VERTICAL ON THE SLOPE WITH A WIDTH FROM 1,50 TO 3.10METERS (STANDARD FRAME)

 

Green trimmer mod. POTEL Bil Eco 010:
The new frames of the PotelBil Eco 010 trimmer are different from all other models mainly for transferring the lateral movement and the articulation for the hydraulic inclination on the lower part of the frame with three big advantages: reduction of the aerial weight – improved stability, possibility of working on slopes with high transverse gradients (for horizontal rows), better visibility. The cutting system of the double blade with "narrow type" cutting section with wide pitch by now has been tested many times with good results (Section Colo04 of our production) and allows operating even on thick and woody vegetation with an advancement speed over 8 km/h, guaranteeing also an optimal result as to "neat cut".

 

The machine consists of double –blade top with hydraulically adjustable angle for the cut of the high upper vegetation- usable cut L=0,60 m – standard ( by request it is possible to insert bars of different sizes) in case of shock, retractable though a special antishock system working around the pole. The height of the vertical cutting bar is 1.60 m or 1.90 m (other sizes available by request). An antishock pneumatic safety device is fitted to the fixation fulcrum of the support frame of the cutting bars to make the bar return automatically to its working position immediately after a shock. For the control of the various movements (height adjustment, lateral displacement, inclination of the cutting segment +/- 45°, inclination of the top from 0° to 90°, control of the motor with antishock safety device complying with the EC regulations), the machine is equipped with a special hydraulic mechanical distributor with five functions (with built-in flow divider; predisposal for the hydraulic shoot conveying system, useful for the use on Cortina, Casarsa, GDC, etc. growing methods) When the tractor bears the cabin, the same distributor is supplied (as an option) in electrical version with joystick control (articulation ergonomic knob). The machine is accessorized with special stand and anchoring plate for the fixation to the tractor for garaging.

"POTEL BIL TUNNEL" GREEN TRIMMER:

The trimmer of the "Potel" series belongs to equipments with "cutting blades", featuring double alternated movement of the blades called "double-blade" reducing the vibrations to the minimum. Differently from the cutting system with "free blade" (knife) producing a wider and more irregular wound and requiring more demanding daily maintenance, with the cleaning and sharpening of the blades many times a day, the periodical checks of the rotation parts (bearings, belts) as well as higher risk exposure due to the ejection of the residual vegetation during the work. Equipped with cutting bars (left-right) with lengths of 1.60mt and 1.90mt (other lengths on demand) for the lateral vegetation and with "double-blade" cutting bar roof (cutting capacity of 0.80mt); hydraulically adjustable tunnel width. The sturdy chassis of box-type steel bears a hydraulic distributor (on demand electro-hydraulic with joystick). The cutting bars are fitted on anti-shock supports with automatic return.

 

SINGLE-BLADE TRIMMER:
