The POTEL hedge trimmer uses the cutting system with alternate cutting blades and it is different from all the other models nowadays on the market for the following reasons:

LOTEL hedge trimmers are manufactured in the following models:

POTEL 83, equipped with a vertical cutting blade (standard length 1.70 m - different dimensions by request), for only lateral cutting on the right.

POTEL 86, equipped with a vertical cutting blade and a horizontal cutting segment (TOP) for the cutting of lateral and top vegetation.

The TOP is supplied in standard versions with scissors cutting (a blade and a counter blade ) to make easier the grasp of the top vegetation and contemporarily to expel the cut part inside the opposite row, to prevent the cut residuals to deposit on the row, which could cause moulds, etc.

By request the POTEL83/86 is available in double version for the bilateral cutting of the row (POTEL-DUE). POTEL-DUE is equipped with a special frame to be able to work on rows on flat surfaces or vertical rows with widths varying from 1.50 to 3.10 m (standard frame).

The hedge trimmers of the POTEL series in standard versions are equipped with traditional controls by means of a 4 - 5 or 6-way oleodynamic double effect distributor ( capacity 40 litres). As an alternative, by request, it is possible to equip them with radio control, electro control or mechanical remote control.

Cutting machine for vineyard, mod. Potel, designed at the end of the 70s, renovates and changes its look.

New, original and customized cutting bars can be fitted with a single blade movement, Potel version, or with double sliding movement (double blade) in the Potel-Bil version.
