"Potel-Triscol" derives from the pruning machine "Potel" with vertical blade cutting system (standard length 1.70 M) usable to cut the summer vegetation of the vines. Its frame allows the insertion of two horizontal bars (standard length 0,80 m), this permits to make the winter pruning on vineyards implanted with different systems.
The use of "Potel-Triscol " grants a reduction of the pruning costs of about 25%.
The advancement speed of the machine is 1200/1500 m/h. A special mechanical sensor (rake with small stell or rubber wheels) on each horizontal bar allows to by-pass the poles (minimal size 5 x 5 cm) without hindering the grasp of the shoots to cut.
"Potel-Triscol" is designed to be mounted on a plate on the front lateral side of any tractor. The assembly and the disassembly are made easier by a stand.Availability of various sensors according to the type of implantation on which you have to work. The distance between one horizontal bar and another can be varied by hand with simple pressure screws.
The machine is completely hydraulic operated by means of the hydraulic power outlet on the tractor or be request by means of an hydraulic distributor on the hoist.
From the driver seat it is possible to control the movements of the machine by means of a 5-lever distributor: the first one with a safety antishock system controls the cutting sectors; the second one adjusts the working height (0.65 m stroke); the thrid one drives the lateral displacement (0.65 m stroke); the fourth controls the inclination of the cutting sector (+ 380); the fifth one is available for further controls on demand.
"Potel -Triscol" has a wieght of about 160 kg.
