BERSANVANGA mod. "TERMINATOR"

The "Terminator" model Bersanvanga is a spade-like equipment mechanizing the manual operation of vine uprooting. 

The operation is carried out on limited areas of already existent rows; in particular when it is necessary to perform the manual extirpation of withered plants with diseases or damaged by precedent treatments, then followed by an operation of reinsertion of the vines (technically this operation is named replanting).

Up to now this activity were usually carried out with the use of a simple manual spade, more recently by using some mechanical drills installed on tractors or, as an alternative, internal combustion drills still subject to high accident hazards and very tiresome to be used by two operators.

The "Terminator" model Bersanvanga spade can be used on any type of agricultural tractor and can be mounted on the front, on the back or at the side of the vehicle used (on both tractors with tires or trucked vehicles) and can be used on both sides of the vehicle indifferently.

The "Terminator" model Bersanvanga is equipped with a double oleo-dynamic system, the former controls the insertion of the spade in the soil, while the latter helps the lifting and the displacement of the tuft extracted, acting as a lever on the stem supporting the spade. By request it can be supplied with a system for the lateral movement, hydraulic stand for the use on light tractors and can be equipped with spades of different shapes. The spade can be easily replaced with a rapid connection. The power required for the operation of the "Terminator" model Bersanvanga spade can be supplied directly by the power outlets of the tractors or by an independent oleo-dynamic control. A special feature of this equipment designed to meet the need of creating holes (for poles, plants, etc.) during the maintenance of the vineyard is that it possible to mount an hydraulic drill on the same chassis.

The hydraulic drill to be assembled on the spade is equipped with:

  • a special hydraulic distribution with a functional mechanical joystick and a lever for the rotation and inversion of the drill
  • reinforced helical points (ø from 100 to 400mm) 
  • kit for the mounting on the tractor
